German Proverb On Growing Old

High climbers and deep swimmers never grow old.
 German Proverb

Getting older does not mean that we should stop having fun. This German Proverb is saying that those that keep themselves busy and actively seeking new adventures never grow old.  We should be excited about learning new things, be willing to go on adventures, reading new books and even studying! When we stop being “high climbers” and “deep swimmers” that is when we grow old, according to this German Proverb.

Being a high climber means there will always be another mountain to climb, and many seas to swim deep. By staying busy, you will eventually forget about getting older.
