Henry Brooks Adam is an American Historian. He is a Harvard Graduate then later became a historian professor at Harvard University in 1870. This quote is related to his teaching experience, being surrounded by young students. Even though he was 39 years of age, he was regarded as an old man by his students. Being considered as “old” is a standard issue we are faced with, finding common ground with the younger generation.
