A new broom sweeps clean but an old broom knows the corners.
Having an “old broom” around can be fulfilling in areas of our lives such as the workplace. Older employees might not have the same tech-savvy skills as their younger colleagues, but they have many years of valuable experience. They make great leaders. Their length of employment shows dedication and commitment. Older employees can teach and provide mentoring to new employees.
Objects/material goods- New isn’t always better. You might still enjoy using your old electronic devices (old iPhone, camera, laptop) some has features you can’t replace. Your old clothes. Fashion changes every year, but you might still have a thing for that old sweater or jeans from last decade.
